A lot of random everyday stuff has been swallowing up our weekends. Napoli has a questionable reputation and most think that going up north is the pace to be when is comes to sightseeing. WRONG! There is a lot to do here and we decided to take a family hike up to Vesuvio.
It has been a little warm the past few weeks and the humidity is pretty awful. Feel like Texas with a kick. So this hike was supposed to be a little break form the heat, maybe break a sweat. Ha!!

Kaitlyn had quite the school year. I know it is only 6th grade, but the one thing she asked for last year, was to NOT to move mid school year. Well, we moved mid school year and it was out of country! I know you are thinking...she moved to Italy, I don't feel bad. For a military kid, this is a bad scenario. So for a few weeks (actually months), she was in a real slump and missed her CA friends dearly. We have been very blessed that the DODEA school here is AMAZING! They have all the services we have been looking for and they have a sponsor program for the new kids and it has really helped the kids wrap up their school year on a positive note with good friendships in the making.

Kaitlyn only had a few months to acclimate and get into the routine of things at NES, we didn't expect much in regards to awards. We were very surprised and SUPER PROUD of our sweetie getting the citizenship award for the school year. Is was the boost of confidence she needed.
